TV Services Overview

What services are available to me and how can I connect?

Across the Glide Network, residents can enjoy unlimited and unfettered access to the plethora of TV services available today.

You can connect via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, on your laptop, phone or tablet, or on Smart TVs or Games Consoles as long as the device is added to your account.

Available options might include:

  • Amazon Prime
  • NowTV (including Sky Entertainment, Movies and Sports)
  • Netflix
  • BritBox
  • BBC iPlayer
  • ITV Hub
  • All 4
  • My5
  • UKTV player
  • Steaming boxes like Roku or Apple TV
  • Plug-in streaming services like Google Chromecast or Amazon Firestick
  • Plus many more!

 

Coaxial based

At some accommodations we are also able to offer a connection to the Freeview service, via a Coxial port in the wall, labelled "TV".

Our Smart Fibre Infrastructureallows your TV to be tuned to receive up to 70 standard channels, 15 HD channels and over 30 radio stations with no cost attached*.

Available services include :

  • BT TV
  • Talk Talk TV

Satellite TV

At select accommodations, we can also offer Satellite sockets (labelled SAT2) that connect directly back to our dish on the top of the building. This enables you to subscribe to the latest SkyQ services or you could install a FreeSat box should you wish to avoid monthly subscription fees.
